This policy explains what information the Ohio Psychedelic Therapy & Integration Network (OPT-IN) collects through ohiopsychedelictherapy.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are
OPT-IN is a professional network for Ohio practitioners interested in psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration. We do not provide therapy, medical advice, or treatment referrals. You can reach us about this policy at info@ohiopsychedelictherapy.com.
Please do not share health information
Nothing on this site asks for health or clinical information, and you should not include any in a registration, message, or comment. Do not share information that could identify a client or patient.
What we collect
Event registrations on this site. When you register for an event here, we collect your first name and email address, and optionally your last name, professional role, and organization. We use this to manage attendance, send confirmations and event updates, and contact you if an event changes or is cancelled.
RSVPs through Google Forms. Some events link to a Google Form for RSVPs. That information is collected by Google on our behalf and is also subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. We use it only to plan and manage the event.
Email. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
The OPT-IN Google Group. Membership in the group is managed through Google Groups, not this website. Google’s terms and privacy policy apply there.
Technical information. Our hosting provider and our security service, Wordfence, record technical details such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to protect the site from attacks and keep it working. We also use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, and device type; see Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics opt-out.
Cookies
The site uses cookies that are needed for it to work and to protect it (including Wordfence security cookies), and Google Analytics cookies to measure use. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. Visitors do not need an account to read the site or register for events.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share attendee lists publicly. Registration details are visible only to OPT-IN’s volunteer moderators who organize events. We may share information with service providers that run the site and its email (such as our web host and Google) only as needed for those services, or if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep event registration details for up to [12 MONTHS] after the event, then delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, by writing to info@ohiopsychedelictherapy.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
