Integration

§1 Mission

Why the network exists

OPT‑IN exists so that Ohioans doing psychedelic therapy and integration work are not doing it alone.

We are a professional network. We are not a clinic, not a training company, and not a directory. Licensed members hold their own licenses, carry their own scope, and answer to their own boards. Integration practitioners and community providers working outside licensure are members on the same footing, under the same confidentiality. What we add is the thing solo practice cannot: colleagues doing the same careful work in the same state.

Much of the licensed work today is ketamine‑assisted therapy, delivered by therapists in collaboration with prescribers. Much of the integration work follows experiences that happened elsewhere. As Ohio’s picture changes — at the CSWMFT, Nursing, and Medical Boards, and in the General Assembly — the network’s job is to make sure practitioners hear about it early, understand it precisely, and have a place to say what they think.

§2 What the network does

Four functions

2.1

Peer community

A moderated group for licensed members. Consultation norms, no client‑identifying information, no advertising.

2.2

Regulatory tracking

We follow the Ohio CSWMFT, Nursing, and Medical Boards, the General Assembly, and federal action, and keep the Ohio Landscape current.

2.3

Gatherings

Periodic in‑person meetings across Ohio. Small rooms, long conversations, no vendors.

2.4

Advocacy

Public comment and testimony to Ohio’s three boards, and dialogue with legislators ahead of the state law FDA‑approved psychedelics will require.

§3 Relationship to CHAMPPS

Kin, not the same body

Alongside CHAMPPS

Columbus Holistic and Mindful Psychedelic Peer Support (CHAMPPS) is a peer‑support community in the psychedelic space. OPT‑IN grew alongside it and shares many of its values, and some of its people. The two are distinct but synergistic: CHAMPPS is a community of peers; OPT‑IN is a network of practitioners.
